The FreshConnect program supports farms by increasing the purchasing power of SNAP-users. Customers receive a $2 coupons for every $2 of SNAP funds they use at the farmers market, which can be used on any SNAP-eligible products.

Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB)

Distributed and accepted at participating farmers markets, farm stands, and mobile markets.

DUFB is a matching program that gives customers $2 for every $2 spent on fresh produce, which means customers have double the money to spend with local produce vendors! Only fruits and vegetables are eligible for purchase.

Distributed and accepted at participating NYC farmers markets.

Health Bucks are $2 coupons that can be used exclusively fruits and vegetables at NYC Farmers Markets. Farms must be Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)-Authorized. All you have to do to redeem your coupons is fill out the form and mail it in!

    Once your market is authorized to accept SNAP, you can accept tokens for SNAP-eligible items. Tokens are market-specific, so be sure to check for your market name on the tokens you receive. Remember, no change can be given.
